MakkalVillipunarvuKalviSangam (MVKS) is a registered nonprofit in the year 1996. MVKS founded by a community of socially conscious individuals and philanthropists who are committed to bring positive changes in the society.
MVKS works on eight major causes adhered to its vision and mission, they are ; food to homeless families/individuals, educational kits to children from homeless families, school bags to children, grocery kit to platform living and homeless families in streets, mats and blankets to homeless, tree plantation, feeding stray dogs, supporting orphan children , aged and elderly persons, disable children and persons in shelter homes, mentally ill persons in shelters across Tamil Nadu.

Mvks has run an internship program right from its inception. We welcome and encourage students to spend time teaching and working at Mvks . We believe young people can learn a great deal from the work we do and they add energy and fresh perspective to our organization. Internships provide students the opportunity to improve their communication, teamwork and time management skills.
Mvks is an avenue for talented, socially conscious students to join us in our mission to help serve disadvantaged communities. There are opportunities galore to learn and enhance your own skills while contributing to our cause – be it improving your language, working on interpersonal, communication & presentation skills, creating and managing processes, applying technical knowledge to make systems and learning smoother etc
Feeding people facing hunger is about more than providing food. Today, 14% of our population is undernourished and needs our undivided attention. The only way to ensure a healthy and happy country is by nourishing the ones who need it the most. Mvksfoodforpoor is an NGO working with an aim to provide food-relief and nourishment to the underprivileged communities of Tamilnadu.
